Manchester United 0 - 0 Valencia
Manchester United woes continue as they now go four home games without a win! Also Mouriho's worst run in his life long managerial career. But Manchester United did put in a winner's performance with numerous chances in the final third compared to Valencia's few. Unfortunately for United, none could be executed! Shaw was probably the best player from Manchester United's side and has confirmed his place at left-back. Rashford was mesmerizing to some but was really just selfish and couldn't even properly deliver one cross out of the many chances he had including 3 corners! The defence was solid though not giving Valencia any chance to put the ball into the back of the net. Other players were pretty average, but Sanchez really needs to put in some real performances for Machester United, just like when he was at Arsenal.
The question is though if Man U can't win this how will they fare in the later stages of the competition, if they get there.. perhaps it's time for Manchester United to turn their head towards the January transfer market.
