Manchester United draw creates epic final showdown

Manchester United 1 - 1 West Ham United

Manchester United drew to West Ham meaning that they lost the opportunity to close the gap once again and it makes the final few matches all that more important. Champions League is a must if we're to concvince the best players like Jadon Sancho to sign for us!

Manchester United were the first to concede on the brink of half-time. A penalty was awarded after Paul Pogba used his hands to stop a shot smashing into his face. A reflex reaction that cost the Reds dearly. In-form striker Michail Antonio calmly slotted away the penalty down the middle.

United came back stronger in the second half, creating quality chances instead of wasting the ball. It was Mason Greenwood who equalised for us with his deadly left foot yet again.  A lightning-fast, short, one-two with Anthony Martial left the West Ham defenders behind and Greenwood did what he does best, finished it off nice and calm.

On a side note, Timothy Fosu-Mensah found his way into the starting line-up but did not convince like other young talents, Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams. Paul Pogba gives away inexplicable penalty as Manchester United labour to draw with West Ham
