Manchester City 3 - 1 Manchester United (FT)
Manchester City scored 3 goals in equal intervals while Anthony Martial scored the lone goal for Manchester United through a penalty. Ander Herrera was exceptionally poor while the whole defence let down United. All goals were caused due to an unorganized defence clearly hinting at perhaps two defensive signings in January. Could have been a lot worse though!
Manchester City had many more chances they'd blow while United's chances of scoring were not even realistic. With many Man U players having a bad day I really can't pick out each one to criticize.
The only reason I hadn't left was to see Martial score (Became a fan after so many wonder strikes).
City were good but also could've been better butthey won't win the Champions League if they play the way they played today.
Overall this game highlighted major flaws in Manchester united which need to be improved such as players standing still at times or two players marking one player e.t.c.
Another question also arises. Why can't Manchester United play with the same energy they play with when they go 2 down?
