Manchester United 3 - 1 Huddersfield Town (FT)
Manchester United dominated at home with an constant attacking threat (finally) as they thrash Huddersfield town, much more than the score shows. Although having more than 70% possession in the first half United only scored one goal through a corner which was initially headed by Lindeof but eventually finished by Nemanja Matic. Huddersfield had missed their golden opportunity to score moments before the goal too and they got another good chance just after but only for De Gea to produce a magnificent save. Manchester United went into the break therefore leading 1 - 0.
Huddersfield resumed the game with more determination and were attacking more frequently. It wasn't enough though as they were lacking the clinical edge. Diogo Dalout nearly scored his first goal for Man Utd after a superb cross from Rashford but only for it to be struck wide. In the next opportunity, Manchester United struck hard. The build-up started on the left flank which ended with Mata crossing it in. The ball found Herrera who played it off for Pogba who struch the ball into the bottom corner. That wasn't it for Pogba, who again found the net moments later. United were building up their play when suddenly Pogba found the ball. He suddenly pulled off a stunning shot which again was slotted into the back of the net from 30 yards out!
