Bournemouth win to end United's high hopes

Bournemouth 1 - 0 Manchester United (FT)

Manchester United were abysmal in their defeat to Bournemouth. The strikers were isolated from the game and therefore Manchester United could not create any clear-cut chances and were far from scoring even 1 goal. Bournemouth's Joshua King produced a nifty skill to out-maneuver the United defence and score. Although Manchester United should have won a penalty when Anthony Martial went down, the referee chose to carry on with the corner and Mason Greenwood came close to scoring, after coming on the final 10 minutes, but his should could only hit the pole. Brandon Williams also added the much needed energy after replacing Ashley Young. He even created a big chance that Ashley Young could only create one in the 80 minutes he was on the field.

The January transfer window will be crucial for Manchester United if they want to even have that glimmer o hop to save their season. No current player except for Paul Pogba perhaps can produce the defence-cutting passes United need to score a goal and even he cant perform consistently. Andreas today couldn't get his passes straight and Lingard was ineffective coming of for the final 20 min. It's going to be an annoying few months for Manchester United fans and a waring that they don't get their hopes up too high as now they sit 10th in the Premier League, yep a mid-table team.
