Ole Gunnar Solksjaer completes the double over the neighbours, Manchester City. A performance and result which had delighted every Manchester United fan as they got the better off on of their biggest rivals as well as close th gap on the top 4 for a Champion League spot.
A thoughly convincing display awarded the Reds with a 2-0 win. The first goal came in the first half. Bruno Fernandes won a free-kick which he then dinked over the City defenders for Anthony Martial to volley it. The ball scrambled under Ederon's arms who was too surprised with the free-kick routine.
The last goal came in the dying moments of the game when Ederson got desperate to move the ball upfield quickly. A miss throw and the ball lands at McTominay's feet, who then makes no mistake and smashes the ball from long range over Ederson's head and into the back of the net
