Already out of the race? No!

 Manchester United 1 - 3 Cyrstal Palace

A loss. Surprising? Not at all if you've seen the game. Crystal Palace already had a few games under their belt and was in stride while Manchester United, on the other hand, was totally unprepared for a well-organised Palace side.

The opener game quite quick after poor defending from the back 4. Victor Lindelöf wasn't aggressive enough to wrestle Ayew off the ball who whipped in a deadly cross. Maguire was too slow to intercept and Luke Shaw was also out of position. Townsend met the ball at the back pole down the right-wing and placed it into the bottom left corner.

The Reds has no chance at a comeback. The ball wasn't moved around fast enough neither with purpose. By losing the ball several times, Palace launched terrifying counter-attacks. And we couldn't rely on Wan-Bissaka's pace and one-v-one defending skills as he was on the bench. His replacement, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, isn't good enough. A visible lack of quality but a player Ole seems to like and trust.

The second came right late into the second half when the ball accidentally glanced off Lindelöf's arm. Penalty awarded. Ayew missed the penalty. David De Gea off his line. Zaha scores the retake. 2 for Crystal Palace.

There was a brief moment of hope when new boy Donny Van de Beek came off the bench to pull one back with 10 minutes to go. A trademark goal, getting in behind the defence and calmly slotting it away.

But it was brief. Zaha scored a fantastic goal after the Red Devils were exposed once again on the counter-attack. All over for Manchester United who've now lost twice in a row to Crystal Palace at home.

This was a poor start but it's not over! We WILL be back!
