The Reds progressed to the semi-finals of this year's Europa League after grinding out a 1-0 win that took extra time to win it. Copenhagen put up a good fight showing resilience and determination throughout the match. But it never was going to be enough with the quality possessing Manchester United who dominated the stats albeit the mere scoreline. A Bruno Fernandes penalty saw them through the next round yet again although the scoreline could've easily been 3-0.
